Temporary adjustment means that a scheduled target temperature has been manually changed.
Changes can be made directly on the thermostat by pushing on the up/down arrows or on your energy account portal.
A temporary adjustment lasts only until the next regularly scheduled temperature program is due to begin.
For example:
A schedule is set for 65 degrees from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. At 2:30 p.m., you increase the temperature to 68 degrees using the arrows on the thermostat. The target temperature has been temporarily adjusted to 68 degrees until 4:00 p.m. At 4:00 p.m. your regularly scheduled temperature program will activate and the temporary adjustment ends.
