If you have a blank thermostat, try resetting it with the following steps:
- Remove the thermostat faceplate by pulling it off the wall.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Return the thermostat faceplate to its seated position.
Additionally, the thermostat receives power from the HVAC system, if the HVAC system fails, the thermostat will also lose power and becomes blank. We recommend checking your HVAC circuit breaker and/or call an HVAC technician.
If the thermostat is still blank, contact Customer Care at support@thesimple.com for further assistance.
If the thermostat seems to be working again, verify it is also connected to your smart thermostat service by logging into your account. If the thermostat shows up as “Offline," follow the troubleshooting steps under “How Do I Reconnect my Thermostat?”
If you change your Wi-Fi password follow the "Connecting to Wi-Fi" steps.
