If your smart thermostat app or web portal says "Not Connected", this means that your thermostat has lost its connection to the service. You can take the following steps to reestablish a connection:
1. Check if your thermostat is receiving power - try to change the temperature up or down.
- If the thermostat does not have power, please troubleshoot with “Fix a Blank Thermostat”
2. Verify that your router and home WiFi network are working and have an internet connection - try to view a web page.
3. Try resetting your thermostat with the following steps:
- Remove the thermostat faceplate by pulling it off the wall.
- Wait 15 seconds.
- Return the thermostat faceplate to its seated position.
- Power Cycle your router
